Kari Gocha is a graduate of Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University where she received her Juris Doctorate degree cum laude. Kari completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in merchandising management.

She began her career at Kmart Corporation where she was promoted to Vice President of Kmart of Michigan, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kmart Corporation. While servicing Kmart, Kari managed all intellectual property issues for Kmart and its subsidiaries, including license agreements for such brands as Martha Stewart Everyday, Disney, Sesame Street and Route 66.

Kari joined the firm of Falvay & Associates, PC. in 2005. Her focus has been primarily on estate planning, probate and estate administration. She enjoys working one on one with families and getting to know them personally so that their plans truly fit their needs. Having a young child of her own, she is especially aware of the planning needs and concerns of families who have children in the home.

Kari enjoys playing with her son, mountain biking, hiking, skiing and kayaking during her free time.
